The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
ADA COUNTY – Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred on June 29, at 8:29 p.m., on SH21 at milepost 9.5 just east of Lucky Peak Dam in Ada County.
A 20-year-old-female from Meridian was riding a 2024 Yamaha YZFR3 in the left-hand lane where it failed to negotiate a curve, overturning the motorcycle.
The rider was wearing a helmet and succumbed to her injuries on scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
