Pocatello Police say one of the men involved in Friday’s stabbing and shooting incident has been released from the hospital.
After receiving treatment for various wounds, Jeremiah Cox was transported to the Pocatello Police Department for questioning and arrested on unrelated warrants, according to a Saturday news release.
The second male involved, who has not been identified, remains in a local hospital in the ICU with gunshot wounds.
It’s still unclear if anyone else was involved in this incident. Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are following up on several leads in the case.

POCATELLO — Pocatello police closed off Belmont Street between Opal Avenue and Stockman Road Friday night to respond to an emergency involving a gun.
Flashing lights from emergency vehicles can be seen throughout the neighborhood. Several police cruisers are at the scene, as are Pocatello Fire and EMS vehicles.
Police said two people are in the hospital because of the emergency. One had been stabbed and the other had been shot.
“It is very early in the investigation, and we do not have all of the facts, and it is unknown if a suspect is still at large,” police said in a news release.
