IDAHO FALLS — Two youth soccer organizations are joining forces to help people with disabilities enjoy the thrill of the game.
Real IFFC/BYSL and AYSO have partnered to bring the TOPSoccer program to eastern Idaho this spring.
“Through the TOPSoccer program, individuals with disabilities get to learn the basics of soccer, enjoy exercise and making healthy choices, be part of a team environment that supports and encourages, make connections with peers and coaches, gain confidence while working on soccer skills and above all, have fun!” a news release says.
The spring 2022 season will run for seven weeks in April and May at the Butte Soccer Complex in Idaho Falls on Wednesday evenings. The program is open to any individual with a disability who is 4 years or older and there is no upper age limit.
If you are interested in learning more or want to the sponsor the program, email Alex Minton at aminton@byslsoccer.org. Registration can be found here.
