St. George police are looking for Brittany Etta Deal and her three children. Police are also looking for David Gene Remley whom Deal had a protective order against and was last seen driving her vehicle and picking up her children from a day care. | Missing People in America
ST. GEORGE, Utah (KSL.com) — St. George police are looking for a mother and her three young children whom they say are “missing and endangered.”
David Gene Remley is believed to have picked up Brittany Etta Deal’s three children from a St. George day care center about 5:15 p.m. Monday using her vehicle, but not with Deal.
“David was driving a white GMC Terrain registered to Brittany Deal. It is unknown if Brittany was inside the vehicle or anything about her whereabouts,” St. George police announced in a statement Tuesday. “There is an active protective order between David and Brittany and the children from a recent family fight. Because of this, we consider Brittany, Quetin, Braylee and Briston to be endangered.”
According to updated information from the Missing People in America website, Deal is not believed to have been in the vehicle, and she has not had communication with anyone since Monday.
Remley has a long history of domestic violence, according to court records. Most recently, he was charged Friday in 5th District Court with aggravated assault, a second-degree felony; and three counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, violating a protective order and witness tampering, third-degree felonies. A warrant was issued Friday for his arrest.
The charges stem from an Aug. 14 incident during which Deal was hospitalized following a fight with Remley, her boyfriend, according to court documents. Remley head-butted Deal, causing her to lose consciousness, charging documents state. Deal had a protective order against Deal at the time that was issued June 29 due to a prior domestic violence incident.
In June, Remley was arrested and later charged with assaulting Deal when she told him she no longer wanted to be with him, according to a police booking affidavit.
Brittany Deal, 27, is 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 150 pounds, has bleached blonde hair and blue eyes, and “has a dermal piercing on her right cheek,” a tattoo of mountains and arrowheads on her left arm, and a tattoo of flowers on her right thigh, according to police.
Braylee Michelle Kelly, 9, has brown hair and brown eyes, and is 5 feet tall and weighs 80 pounds.
Quentin Michael Kelly, 5, also has brown hair and brown eyes, and is 4 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 60 pounds.
Brixton King Haley, 2, has brown hair and blue eyes, and is 3 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds.
David Gene Remley, 36, has blonde/sandy hair and blue eyes, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds and was last seen wearing a striped T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
He and the children were last seen in a white GMC Terrain with Utah license plate 5AF687.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call police at 435-627-4300 or 911.
