POCATELLO — A second shooting in less than a week has left the Pocatello Police Department with little more information than the first case.
The department received 911 calls around 11 a.m. Thursday reporting shots fired on Teakwood Street, at a trailer park near Lincoln Early Learning Center, according to department spokesman Lt. John Walker. Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 placed the Lincoln campus on controlled access while officers checked the scene, Walker said.

While no damage has been reported, and, like Tuesday, no shell casings were found at the scene, witnesses were able to provide officers with a description of the two apparent gunmen. A large Hispanic male in a black coat and a Caucasian female with blonde hair and blue jeans were reported to have fired at a residence while on foot. Nothing else has been substantiated, Walker said.
“This one’s kinda like the other one,” Walker told EastIdahoNews.com. “No property damage, no nothing.”
It’s not clear if the incidents are related. Officers were unable to locate anyone matching the suspect description provided and “everything’s all back to normal, at this point,” Walker said.
Anyone with information regarding either of the two reported shootings is asked to contact the Pocatello Police Department at (208) 234-6100.
