POCATELLO — One man has been confirmed dead and two others were injured following a stabbing in Pocatello late Sunday night.
Officers from the Pocatello Police Department were at Portneuf Medical Center just after midnight when two men entered the emergency room advising staff that they had been stabbed, according to a department spokesman. Both men were admitted to PMC for treatment.
Officers responded to the 900 block of East Lander Street, where a third stabbing victim was found and pronounced dead at the scene.
The three men were involved in an altercation, according to police.
The names of those involved have not been released and police say the investigation is ongoing. EastIdahoNews.com will post more information as we learn more.
