Isaul Sanchez | Teton County Sheriff’s Office TETONIA — A 34-year-old was sentenced to prison for killing an Idaho Falls man after driving recklessly on snow-covered roads, causing a head-on crash. Isaul Sanchez, of St. Anthony, was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter. Brian Wright, 52, was killed. Sanchez signed a plea agreement earlier this year and pleaded guilty to the charge. District Judge Steven Boyce sentenced him on Nov. 19 at the Teton County Courthouse to two and a half years of fixed time in prison with no eligibility for parole. A snowplow was the lead vehicle in a line of cars, traveling eastbound, according to Idaho State Police. Sanchez was reportedly driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and attempted to pass the line of cars. Wright was driving a 2017 Ford commercial box truck traveling westbound. As the Chevrolet was in the oncoming lane of travel, it hit the Ford head-on. The Chevrolet then spun and hit a 2010 Toyota Yaris, driven by a 56-year-old man from Teton, Idaho State Police said.
