Local man sent to prison for lewd conduct with teenager

Chrisnaider Greyson Allen | Bonneville County Jail
IDAHO FALLS — An Idaho Falls man has been sent to prison for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
Chrisnaider Greyson Allen, 19, was sentenced to between 18 months and 10 years in prison Thursday by District Judge Joel Tingey. Allen had pleaded guilty to felony lewd conduct as part of a plea agreement with Bonneville County prosecutors. In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors dismissed a child pornography and theft charge.
In April, the teenage victim told investigators that Allen sexually assaulted her in her backyard, while she was telling him to stop, according to an affidavit of probable cause. The victim had met Allen online while playing video games, and they decided to meet up during a night that month. The sexual assault occurred during that encounter.
“(The victim) said Chris was raping her for probably 30 minutes,” a Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputy wrote in his report. “(She) said she thought about running into her house and getting help, but she was scared. (She) was not sure what Chris would have done to her for trying to get help.”

In the morning, the victim’s family member discovered Allen and was unhappy with him being there. The family member took Allen to his apartment and contacted authorities.
Deputies followed up at Allen’s Idaho Falls apartment and the man changed his story multiple times, initially denying ever knowing the victim, according to court documents. When investigators confronted Allen about the alleged sexual assault, he replied with, “Oh God no, I’m still a virgin,” court documents read.
Eventually, after being pressed by deputies, Allen admitted to a sexual encounter but said the victim forced herself on him and he “was too scared to stop” her. During their interview, Allen reportedly said he had changed his story because he was scared of law enforcement not believing him because he was older than the victim and black. He also said he felt uncomfortable talking about it and he doesn’t know much about sex because his parents never talked to him about it.

After Allen’s arrest hit the news in April, another alleged victim came forward. The victim said that Allen added her on Snapchat under his username of “The Office.” That victim said Allen claimed he was 16-years-old. The two exchanged several selfies, and after she told Allen she was 13 years old, he allegedly asked her to send him nude photos. The victim said she told Allen no and blocked him for a while before friending him again. Those allegations led to the child pornography charge that was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
In addition to the prison sentence, Tingey ordered Allen to pay $2,153.91 in fees and fines. Under Idaho law, Allen will also have to register as a sex offender.
