EastIdahoNews.com file photo BLACKFOOT – The identity of a man who died after being hit by a minivan Tuesday night has been released. Chase Adams, 47, of Blackfoot was struck by the vehicle while jogging and succumbed to his injuries at Bingham Memorial Hospital, according to Bingham County Coroner Jimmy Roberts. The cause and manner of death are still pending investigation. “This incident remains under investigation, and we ask that everyone with ties to our community keep Mr. Adams’ family in your thoughts and prayers,” says Roberts. According to a Facebook post by the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, Adams was hit by a juvenile male driving a minivan around 6:45 p.m. in the area of 100 West and Mitchell Road. A man who witnessed the incident stopped and performed CPR on the victim, who was eventually transported to Bingham Memorial Hospital, where he passed away.The post Identity released of man who died after being hit by minivan appeared first on East Idaho News.
