CALDWELL — Idaho State Police are asking the public for information about a highway death in western Idaho.
Troopers are investigating after they discovered an abandoned vehicle near milepost 26 on westbound Interstate 84 just before 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
At 10:10 a.m., dispatch was alerted to a deceased man found on the roadway, about a half mile from where troopers found the vehicle, according to an ISP news release.
During the investigation, the deceased man was confirmed as the owner of the abandoned vehicle. It appears he was struck by a vehicle traveling west on the interstate.
Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Idaho State Police Region Communications Center at (208) 846-7500.
