MELBA — Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:56 p.m. on Feb. 7th, 2025, on Melba Road, just west of Melba. A 24-year-old male from Mexico was driving eastbound on Melba Road in a Maroon 1993 Nissan Altima. The Altima left the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled. The vehicle came to rest off the roadway on the right shoulder. The driver of the Altima was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The roadway was blocked for approximately three hours to allow emergency services to assist those involved. Idaho State Police were assisted by Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, Canyon County Paramedics, and Melba Fire Department. The post Fatal crash in western Idaho appeared first on East Idaho News.
