BURLEY – The four people involved in a helicopter crash near Burley Friday night have been treated and released from the hospital.
The crash happened 25 miles east of Burley in Cassia County. The U.S. Forest Service previously reported the aircraft was traveling from the Stockdale Fire in Nevada to Pocatello for its next assignment.

Forest Service spokesman Jared Fisher tells EastIdahoNews.com those who were injured included a pilot and three Forest Service firefighters. He did not identify them by name, but their injuries were not serious.
An investigation is now underway, so further details about the crash are unavailable. The Bureau of Land Management and the National Transportation Safety Board are helping with the investigation.
