A Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!
The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many individuals in our community as he can.
Anette has struggled with some unique health-related issues over the years. She is a very caring person and does not like to make her problems known to others. She would never ask for help on her own but has struggled with Rheumatoid Arthritis since she was young. She was a Civil Service Employee for over 20 years but was forced to retire early because of her health.
She has had hip replacement surgeries with complications, has difficulty getting around and her hands are so crippled now she can hardly sign her name. Due to her condition and medications, she has major dental issues that she cannot afford to get fixed.
She lives alone and last winter she was using her oven range to heat her kitchen. Because of that, her range quit working and she has not had an oven for months.
Secret Santa wants to help Anette and asked the East Idaho News elves to pay her a visit with some special gifts. Watch the video above to see the surprise!
