ST. ANTHONY — A court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in Chad Daybell’s murder case.
The status conference will be held via Zoom and is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Daybell is expected to appear on camera before District Judge Steven Boyce from the Fremont County Jail along with John Prior, his attorney, and prosecutors.
Chad Daybell and his wife Lori Vallow Daybell were indicted by a grand jury in May 2021 on multiple counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for the deaths of JJ and Tylee — two of Lori’s kids — and Daybell’s first wife, Tammy Daybell. Chad is also charged with two counts of insurance fraud in relation to Tammy Daybell’s life insurance policies.
A jury found Lori guilty on all charges in May. She will be sentenced sentenced to life in prison in July.
Chad Daybell’s trial is scheduled to begin April 1 in Ada County.
