IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Falls Zoo is excited to announce the reopening of its gates for the 2025 season on Thursday, April 24. This highly anticipated reopening invites both local residents and visitors to experience the remarkable wildlife and educational experiences the Zoo has to offer. The Zoo will be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m. Visitors can explore a diverse array of over 230 individual animals representing over 90 species from across the globe. “We’re thrilled to welcome the community back for another exciting season at the Idaho Falls Zoo,” said David Pennock, Zoo Executive Director. “With a full lineup of programs and events, we’re offering more opportunities than ever for families and visitors to experience the wonders of wildlife and learn about the important conservation work we do.” General admission rates for the Zoo are as follows:  Adults (13–61): $12.00 Seniors (62+): $10.50 Children (3–12): $9.00 Toddlers/Infants (2 & under): $0.50 Military (with valid ID): $9.00 Zoo Members: Free (with valid membership)  In addition to regular visits, the Zoo will host a variety of education programs and special events, with dates and details to be announced throughout the season. These programs are designed to engage visitors of all ages and promote the Zoo’s commitment to wildlife education and conservation. The Zoo also invites the community to participate in its annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own rakes, gloves, and equipment, and wear clothing they are comfortable getting dirty in.
