In a statement provided to EastIdahoSports.com, team owner Terry Fredickson said that new prospective Grays players will tryout as part of the team’s regular practices. “In lieu of tryouts this year the Gate City Grays will be extending invitations to individuals interested in playing for the Grays,” Fredrickson said. “Anyone interested is encouraged to contact the team via email at gatecitygrays@gmail.com to receive further instructions.” The Grays were eliminated from the NUL Playoffs in the semifinals last season, falling two games to one in a best-of-three series against the Logan Royals. “We are looking forward to the season and will be releasing the schedule shortly,” Fredrickson said. The post Gate City Grays announce new try-out format appeared first on East Idaho News.
