Adobe stock image FORT HALL — A coroner has identified two people who were killed in a crash Friday night. Bingham County Coroner Jimmy Roberts said Anne West, 63, of Pocatello, and Jared Warner, 49, of Blackfoot, were killed. Roberts said they both died due to severe trauma from the accident. RELATED | 2 killed in wrong-way driver crash on I-15 near Fort Hall The two-vehicle crash happened on northbound Interstate 15 at milepost 83.5, just north of Fort Hall, before 11 p.m. West was driving southbound in the northbound lanes on I-15 in a 2007 Honda CR-V, Idaho State Police said. The Honda collided head-on with a 2024 Nissan Sentra driving northbound on I-15. Warner was driving the Nissan. He had a 45-year-old woman from Grace as a passenger, ISP said. West and Warner died on the scene due to their injuries from the crash. Warner’s passenger was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital. Her condition is currently unknown. ISP said West was wearing a seatbelt, and Warner was not. Warner’s passenger reportedly was wearing a seatbelt. Lanes were blocked for approximately four hours.
