Photo illustration & Envato stock image The following is a news release from the Fairfield Police Department in Connecticut on Saturday. We want to provide some clarity regarding the incident that took place at the McKinley Carnival at Jennings Beach yesterday evening. At one point during the event, a crowd was seen running from the beach area, understandably raising concerns. We want to assure everyone that despite rumors circulating online, there were no weapons, no physical altercations, and no injuries reported at any time. Fairfield Police officers were already on scene monitoring the carnival, as they do every year, ensuring the safety of all attendees. The disruption was caused by a group of kids using “flatulence spray” near the carnival exit. This prank, repeated several times throughout the night, led to confusion and caused small groups to scream and run. Toward the end of the evening, a larger reaction occurred, triggering a ripple effect as others began running without knowing the cause. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding. The safety and well-being of our community remain our top priority. The post Fart spray causes crowd to panic in Connecticut appeared first on East Idaho News.
