Frankee Toni Currie | Bannock County Jail
POCATELLO — A woman who pleaded guilty to stealing merchandise from two local hardware stores has been sent to prison.
Frankee Toni Currie, 26, pleaded guilty to felonies of grand theft and burglary after reaching a plea agreement with the Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office. In exchange, other felony charges of burglary and grand larceny were dismissed.
During a sentencing hearing Monday, District Judge Javier Gabiola sentenced Currie to two prison terms of two to five years — to be served concurrently — court records show.

Currie was arrested in October following a police investigation into a pair of thefts at separate stores last May.
Through the investigation, officers learned that on May 11, 2021, and May 16, 2021, Currie had taken carts full of items she had not purchased from the stores.
Currie was identified by police but was not found until she was arrested for unrelated charges in Fort Hall.
In addition to the prison sentence, Currie has been ordered to pay $591 in fees and fines, as well as $2,349.96 in restitution to the businesses.
